Here we have a little crazy story: imagine you have these kits at your disposal:
Tiran 4 late version – miniart 37041 scalemates
kmt-9 mineroller – miniart 37040 scalemates
some copper wire and your typical “bits-and-pieces” box
What would any normal sensible person do? Build the Tiran 4 as normal and get another kit for the kmt-9, like a bmr-1? Most likely something along those lines. Problem is, I am not really normal. Thus I thought it would be a good idea to convert it “back” into a regular t55, add the kmt-9 and build a rebar cage with the copper wire. So now we are here. Of course it is not ideal, but for what I had at my disposal I am really happy with how it turned out. Next step will now be painting.
The tracks and turret are kept removable for easier painting, they look a bit weird at times because of that, but it will be fixed later, or at least I hope so.
Sandbags, bricks and all of that will also be added later to again simplify painting for now.
All in all it was a nice experience, even though the modifications were painful at times. For certain using a “normal” T55 would have been much easier, but do I look like I like it easy.
I intend to try one of those a little crazy paint schemes you see from time to time, but I am still not sure.

Hi Jaime, thanks a lot for those kind words, but for sure, i still wanted to do some minor changes this weekend (modify the armour texture in the rear, add smoke barrels, etc – just some small details you see later on) usually i would not write a post about it, but now with that great interest, for sure. Hi, no, not any problems with hackers so far, the only thing i suspect are spam comments, since it is very unrealistic for all of those to be real. Still i treat all of them as real ones. But i do make backups and store them locally (best on a usb-stick) to always keep access to those, further more i use 2fa for my servers and a not standard passwort.

sure, no Problem. I use WordPress with the Signify Dark theme, but I intend to soon change to Astra theme. It is more complex, but gives you a wider range of possibilities. But I would assume you can get good design with all 4 of those engines, but i can’t tell you about those, since i didn’t use them until now.

first of all thank you very much for your kind words, to be honest i would consider myself still an inexperiend blog writer, but i always work like this: 1. make a avery basic plan about what to write in which order 2. write it all down without any breaks, no correctiong, no changes, just type as fast as possible 3. correct any mistakes and weird passages.
Last but not least: extremly long comments do often automatically get filtered out as spam, but i will have a look about it.

no problem for going off topic, ,aybe to your surprise I do use wordpress with no problems, in addition to this i would recommend regular backups and a 2FA on your hosting server. Otherwise the theme i use is called “Inspiro”
